To commemorate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month 2019, Wieden+Kennedy’s women’s affinity group (called the 51%) collaborated with acclaimed Portland-based photographer Holly Andres on an exhibition called “Inner Feminine”. The show featured photographs of women embodying the seven feminine archetypes from a non-fixed, non-heteronormative perspective that ultimately communicate the power of women in all shapes, sizes, colors and gender expressions.
For the exhibition identity, I was intentional about conveying femininity, uniqueness and strength through choice of typeface and colors in a way that complemented Holly’s exquisite images.
